Thanks to all the alumni who came and participated in our First Alumni Day. We couldn't have asked for better weather with the nip in the air. Tales were told of high school days and much laughter was shared!! We hope to make it even bigger and better next year!!

The Class of 1997 had a gathering in the break area before the first home football game. There was alot of reminiscing about the football team of 1996-97 making it to the State Playoffs and getting beat by one point in overtime. These players were recognized before the game. Twenty-0ne of the class along with spouses and children attended the function.

The Class of 1987 recently held their 20th reunion. 25 graduates attended the function along with spouses and friends. Several "awards" were given....Girault Jones for coming the farthest (Ohio), Chad Norton for the most degrees, and Renee Deweese for changing the least!

Grace Gore, Class of 2002, was recently crowned Miss Tennessee. She will compete in the Miss America Pageant in January 2008 in Las Vegas. Grace is an Audiology student at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.

ALUMNI

The Kirk Academy Alumni Association is another support group for the school. This association, made up of alumni of the school, helps to support the school in a number of ways through their physical and financial support. Activities for alumni are often scheduled at Homecoming and other times throughout the year.

Kirk Academy alumni have furthered their education at schools across the United States, including MIT, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and all U. S. Military Academies. They have become professionals in all avenues of life - lawyers, doctors, engineers, accountants, teachers, business leaders, etc.
