The Kirk Academy Class of 1980 held their 30 year reunion the weekend of August 6th and 7th.  Friday night was a class members only gathering at Dr. Rafe Armstrong and his wife Kathy's house.  Saturday afternoon, Coach Reans provided a guided tour of the Kirk Academy campus.  On Saturday evening, classmates and their spouses gathered at the Grenada Country Club for an evening of dining and
reminiscing.

Bad Boy Buggy Weekly Individual Winners:
Elementary- Landon Worthy- he will get lunch delivered to him two times next week and be allowed to stand on sidelines with football team at home game. 
Secondary Winner:  Jordan Rutland- she will also have lunch delivered to her two times next week and she will be allowed to wear a KA t-shirt all next week.
 
Class Competition:
6th Grade and 8th Grade- these two classes are leading with the Junior Class and the 5th grade class close behind.  The winning class will go to Memphis to Hard Rock Cafe (Secondary) and Incredible Pizza (Elementary).  More tickets are available in the office.  Every family should have received 10 tickets in the mail.  If you did not, please contact Jan Moody at the school.

The Class of 1990 recently had their Class Reunion.  They met at the Grenada Country Club on Friday night for supper.  On Saturday, they met at Scott Kirk's lakehouse (children included) and on Saturday night they had supper at 333.  I've been standing in front of their graduation composite and there have been lots of changes!!

Bad Boy Buggy Ticket sales are going great!!!  Flyers were sent home in the elementary communicators about the competitions.  There will be individual and class competitions.    The OVERALL INDIVIDUAL winner will receive $500 off this year's tuition and $250.00 cash!!  Remember ALL proceeds will go toward the gym renovation.  Our gym is used for more than basketball...it is used for assemblies, chapels, graduation, Veterans Day and MUCH more.  See attached for all the details:  userfiles/file/BBB Flyer.pdf

Yes the Air Evac was in the Kirk parking lot....no, there was not a life threatening condition.   The Air Evac Lifeteam gave the teachers a look inside the helicopter and told of the services they offered.  The Air Evac helicopter will be at the Kirk Jamboree on Thursday night.
