The first project for Gym Jam 2010 is "Coins for the Court."  This competition is for K4- 12th grade.  Jars have been placed in each classroom.  The class that collects the most money will be awarded (High School)1/2 day off school and (elementary) ice cream sundae party.  All money collected will be put into the Gym Jam 2010 Fund and will be used for renovation of the gym.   

Natural resources summer camp at Mississippi State University- June 6-10, 2010.  Students may register online at www.cfr.msstate.edu/summer_camp  The registration fee is $175.00.

IMPORTANT!!! Please note the change in school dates.  May 17 will be a full day for everyone.  Half days for elementary will be May 18, 19, 20, 21.  Elementary Awards Day will be May 21.  Exams for secondary will start on May 18 and end with one exam at 8:00 on May 21.  Please make these changes on your calendar.

 

Just a reminder....no outside food (from restaurants) is to be brought in for lunch except on Fridays.

The Student Council sponsored a toy drive for the St. Nicholas Toy Chest.  Over 300 toys were collected.  During chapel this week, the toys were presented to Mr. Donald Vaughn, Chairman of the St. Nicholas Toy Chest.
