The KA English department has planned a great summer reading experience for our 7th-12th graders! We hope our students enjoy these engaging titles and have a fun, healthy summer break while reading the books assigned. Please refer to the list below for the book assigned to your child’s grade level❤️💙

Last week, Lorenzo O’Bryant from the Organ Recovery Agency spoke to our Driver’s Ed class about the importance of organ donation! Thank you, Mr. O’Bryant, for visiting our students to encourage and inform them about how being an organ donor can save lives❤️💙
Coach Montgomery’s Drivers Ed class learned about vehicle maintenance last week! They had a visit from Paul Barrow of Barrow’s Auto Service to learn a very important skill: changing tires🛞 The next day, the students took their knowledge learned from Mr. Barrow and enjoyed a hands-on experience of changing the tires. Thank you, Mr. Barrow, for teaching our students valuable skills that every driver should know!❤️💙
It’s moving day for our elementary teachers! They are moving to their new classrooms with the help from our football players & coaches!❤️💙 Thank you, KA football team, for being so willing to help out!!
We had visits from Sheriff Garrett Hartley, Deputy David O’Bannon, & SGT Steven Rosamond. They discussed many important topics such as the dangers & consequences of driving under the influence, statistics of DUI, how alcohol & drugs affect the ability to safely drive a vehicle, & more. We’re thankful for their visits to teach our up and coming new drivers about driver safety & awareness, as well as the effects of alcohol❤️💙
We are so thrilled that we have surpassed our $30,000 goal for the Securing Success campaign. This will allow us to provide a safe and secure campus for our students, faculty, & families. Thanks to all of you for your generosity and support! Proud to be a Raider!❤️💙
If you ordered a DVD or a flash drive of the graduation, they have come in. You can come pick them up from Mrs. Fancher’s office from 9am-12pm on Tuesday-Thursday💙❤️
